Dr. Alan Bradford
Alan Bradford, licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), grew up in the green outdoors of Northwest Oregon. In 1996, his parents moved the family to Arizona where he has lived ever since. His passion for natural medicine was fueled after taking an introductory nutrition course in community college. This set him on a path to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition from Arizona State University in 2009.
While finishing his undergraduate program, he set his sights on becoming the first physician in his family. As time grew closer to begin applying to medical schools, he had several conversations with friends who were getting their acceptance letters. When he discovered that nutrition found little place in traditional medical education, he began looking for other options. He found his calling in Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Bradford graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in 2015. He sees patients of all ages, with an emphasis on men’s health and pain relief. He views medicine with the idea that simple, gentle therapies can be extremely effective. His treatment approaches are varied and individualized to each patient. They include nutrition, acupuncture, botanical medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine and injection therapies.
Fun Facts: His favorite vegetable is broccoli, his favorite nut is the walnut, and he enjoys sharing a can of sardines with his four-year old daughter.
