LIVING WELLNESS MEDICAL CENTER
Radiant Skin at Every Stage
A Root-Cause Approach to Healthy, Ageless Skin
Skin aging is inevitable—but how our skin ages is influenced by far more
than the number of birthdays we’ve had.
Hormones, sun exposure, genetics, nutrition, sleep, stress, inflammation,
hydration, smoking, alcohol, medications, and our daily skincare habits
can all influence how quickly we notice fine lines, discoloration, dryness,
loss of elasticity, and changes in skin texture.
At Living Wellness Medical Center, we take the same approach to skin that
we take to the rest of the body: look for the underlying contributors,
then choose treatments that target the specific changes you want to improve.
Prevention + Repair + Targeted Treatment
UNDERSTANDING YOUR SKIN
Why Does Our Skin Age?
Skin aging is generally a combination of two processes happening
at the same time.
Intrinsic Aging
Intrinsic aging is the natural biological aging of the skin.
Over time, cell turnover slows, collagen and elastin production
decline, the skin becomes thinner, and its ability to retain
moisture decreases.
Extrinsic Aging
Extrinsic aging is caused by outside influences—especially
ultraviolet (UV) exposure. Chronic sun exposure contributes
to wrinkles, pigmentation changes, uneven complexion, and
loss of elasticity.
Daily sun protection remains a foundation of an anti-aging
skincare program.
WHAT YOU MAY NOTICE
The Most Common Signs of Aging Skin
The key is determining which processes are driving the changes
you’re seeing, because different ingredients target different pathways.
Loss of firmness or elasticity
Thinner or more fragile skin
Dryness or dehydration
Dullness
Uneven texture
Brown spots or hyperpigmentation
Redness or uneven tone
Larger-appearing pores
Under-eye puffiness or dark circles
Slower healing
Decreased “bounce” or plumpness
LOOKING BENEATH THE SURFACE
The Root Causes of Premature or Accelerated Skin Aging
Healthy skin is influenced by multiple interconnected pathways.
Understanding what is changing helps us choose more targeted solutions.
Sun Exposure
UV exposure damages collagen and elastin and contributes
to wrinkles, pigmentation changes, rough texture, precancerous
lesions, and skin cancer.
Broad-spectrum, water-resistant SPF 30 or higher should
form the foundation of an anti-aging skincare routine.
Declining Estrogen
Women often notice significant skin changes during perimenopause
and menopause. Estrogen influences collagen, skin thickness,
elasticity, hydration, and wound healing.
Declining estrogen can be associated with thinning, dryness,
wrinkling, and loss of elasticity, which is why hormonal stage
can matter when developing a skincare plan.
Loss of Collagen and Elastin
Collagen provides structural support while elastin helps
skin stretch and return to its original shape.

Slower Cellular Turnover
As cellular turnover slows, skin may appear duller, rougher,
less radiant, and more uneven in tone and texture.
Retinoids such as tretinoin support cellular turnover and
collagen production and may help improve fine lines,
pigmentation, tone, and texture.
Oxidative Stress & Inflammation
UV exposure, pollution, smoking, metabolic dysfunction,
poor nutrition, and other stressors can increase oxidative stress.
Antioxidants—including vitamin C—can play an important
supporting role in healthy skin and collagen biology.
Skin-Barrier Dysfunction
Your skin barrier helps retain water while keeping environmental
irritants out. As we age, this barrier can become less effective.
Sometimes the answer isn’t a “stronger” anti-aging treatment.
Sometimes we need to restore and strengthen the skin first.
OUR APPROACH
Match the Treatment to the Skin
The beauty industry can make skincare unnecessarily complicated.
You don’t necessarily need ten products.
Start by asking: What am I trying to accomplish?
PERSONALIZED SKIN SOLUTIONS
Solutions Available Through Living Wellness
Each formulation approaches skin aging through a different pathway.
Your physician can help determine which strategy best matches your
skin, goals, hormonal stage, and medical history.

GLOW
Repair + Rejuvenate
GLOW Peptide
Our GLOW injectable combines three peptides:
- BPC-157
- TB-500
- GHK-Cu
Rather than functioning like a traditional facial cream,
GLOW represents an emerging regenerative peptide approach.
Researchers are investigating numerous peptides for their
potential roles in tissue repair, inflammation, collagen
signaling, wound healing, and healthy aging.
GHK-Cu is the peptide in this combination with particular
relevance to skin and collagen biology. BPC-157 and TB-500
are being investigated for tissue-repair and regenerative
applications.
promising and emerging does not mean proven. Clinical evidence
and regulatory status differ substantially from established
dermatologic treatments such as tretinoin.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?
Which Skin Solution Might Be Right for You?
Begin with the concern that matters most to you, then discuss
your options with your Living Wellness physician.
What is your #1 skin concern?
Fine lines, wrinkles & loss of firmness
Consider discussing Stella or Cashmere.
Brown spots, dullness or uneven tone
Consider discussing Aurora.
Redness & uneven complexion
Consider discussing Aurora.
Dry, fragile or less resilient skin
Consider discussing Aquabiome+.
Puffiness, dark circles & aging texture
Consider discussing Cashmere.
Regenerative peptide therapies
Ask about Aquabiome+ or GLOW.
Are you in perimenopause or menopause and noticing thinner,
drier or less elastic skin?
as Stella or Aurora with your Living Wellness physician.
Your physician can also help determine whether changes in your
skin may be part of a broader hormonal picture.
Is pigmentation or redness more concerning than wrinkles?
azelaic acid, vitamin C, and estriol.
Are fine lines and texture your biggest concern?
make sense to discuss. Retinoids remain among the best-supported
topical treatments for photoaging.
Do you have sensitive skin or want to avoid tretinoin?
Aurora is another possibility depending upon your concerns,
although azelaic acid may still cause irritation in sensitive
individuals.
Are you looking for one product or a more comprehensive program?
One product:
Start with the treatment that addresses your highest-priority concern.
Two products:
Your physician may combine treatments that address different
pathways—for example, renewal + peptide support or brightening + repair.
Three-part approach:
Daily prevention + targeted topical therapy + regenerative support.
More isn’t automatically better. Introducing too many active
products simultaneously can irritate the skin and make it
difficult to determine what is—or isn’t—working.
THE FOUNDATION STILL MATTERS
Healthy Skin Starts With the Basics
No anti-aging cream, peptide, or procedure replaces the fundamentals.
Skin changes may occasionally reflect what’s happening inside the body.
For the right patient, we may also consider thyroid function, sex hormones,
blood sugar and insulin, nutritional status, inflammation, or other aspects
of whole-person health.
PERSONALIZED CARE
Healthy Skin. Confident You.
There isn’t one perfect anti-aging product—and there shouldn’t be.
Your skin, hormonal stage, goals, medical history, lifestyle, and
budget are uniquely yours.
Talk with your Living Wellness physician about your skin goals.
Together, you can create an individualized plan that may include
topical treatments, peptides, hormonal evaluation when appropriate,
lifestyle strategies, or a combination approach.
Important Medical Information:
