Dr. Sam graduated with her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (SUHS) – formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ. She completed two years of clinical rotations during medical school and spent a year and a half training directly under Dr. Leila Turner, where she developed a strong foundation in endocrinology and women’s health. Following her graduation, she joined Living Wellness Medical Center as a resident physician under Dr. Leila Turner’s mentorship. Dr. Sam also has a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Certificate in Linguistics, as well as minors in Biology and Chemistry, from Northern Arizona University (NAU). Outside of medicine, Dr. Sam enjoys drinking good coffee, thrift shopping, rock climbing with her partner, and reading fiction novels with her cat, Ruby. Dr. Sam strives to provide the best possible care for her patients, making them feel seen, heard, and understood. She looks forward to working with you and together working towards a healthier more enjoyable life.
